What Ingredients Are NOT In Pampers Products

Are Pampers Ingredients Safe?

YES! All ingredients, materials, formulation processes, and final products are extensively evaluated to ensure that your baby’s health is never compromised and intentionally selected and created to provide your baby with the best possible protection. At each stage of product design, we evaluate ingredients to ensure its safety before it comes in contact with your baby’s skin.

Thoughtfully Chosen Ingredients

All Pampers nappies, wipes, and nappt pants are made from ingredients that are carefully selected and evaluated for safety and to keep baby’s skin clean and dry. The ingredients we use are common in most nappies and wipes that are used by millions of babies around the world.

The No-Go Ingredients

We don’t add to our products any ingredient that is known to be harmful for babies - some of the ingredients that are never used in any Pampers products are listed here:*

• Bisphenol A (BPA)

• Dioxins

• Disperse dyes

• Elemental chlorine

  • Chlorine is NEVER added to any Pampers nappies, ever.

• Ethanol/alcohol

  • Pampers nappies,nappy pants, and wipes are alcohol-free, which means they are also free of ethanol and isopropyl (also known as rubbing alcohol).

• Latex (natural rubber)

• Lead and mercury in printed inks

• Organotins

• Parabens

• Pesticide residues

• Phenol

• Polyvinyl chloride (PVC)

• Specific preservatives

  • Pampers does not use preservatives in our nappies. We carefully select preservatives for our baby wipes to keep them safe and fresh. We do not use MIT or CMIT; formaldehyde or formaldehyde releasers; parabens; quaternary ammonium compounds (QACs); and triclocarban or triclosan.

*Remember that some of these substances are present in everyday life, and therefore may be present in trace amounts of everyday household items, such as drinking water, air or dust. What’s important to remember is that every substance has a safe threshold, and we’ve spent decades working with health care professionals and regulatory agencies to define those thresholds. We will NEVER use an ingredient that poses harm to your baby.
