Pampers Ninjamas helps parents reset bedtime routines after the summer holidays

2 min readUpdated October 20, 2026
AS MORE THAN 90% OF PARENTS CONFIRM THAT BEDTIME IS THE MOST CHALLENGING ROUTINE TO RESET AFTER THE SUMMER HOLIDAYS[i], PAMPERS NINJAMAS IS HERE TO HELP
  • Back-to-school means back to routine - a challenging time for many parents, with 91% confirming that bedtime is the most challenging routine to re-establish after summer[ii]

  • 84% of parents would like to see more materials which help to address bedtime routines [iii]- particularly important for those who experience bedwetting, which we know is impacted by starting or returning to school[iv]

  • That's why Pampers Ninjamas has teamed up with a team of child experts, parents and British Olympian, TV Personality and Dad, Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, to help everyone Reset the Routine this September.

Families across the UK are preparing to swap summer lie-ins for early mornings – signalling the return of schooltime routines. But for many, this is met with challenge – with 91% of parents with children aged between four and 12 citing bedtime as the most challenging routine to re-establish after summer[i].

Both earlier and later bedtimes during the holidays are responsible for parents finding the return to routine challenging. But it’s not just the parents that are impacted. Starting or returning to school after the holidays is known to impact bedwetting[ii], which in turn impacts children’s confidence at school[iii].

But research shows that parents still need more support in this area – with 84% of them saying that they would like to see more materials which help to address bedtime routines[iv].

That’s why Pampers Ninjamas is on a mission to help families ahead of the back-to-school period – launching its Reset the Routine evening activity chart, which aims to help children go to bed feeling calm, confident, and ready for the day (or school year) ahead.

Reset the Routine has been designed in partnership with child psychologist, Dr Kimberley Bennett, and is endorsed by UK charity, Bladder & Bowel UK, with the ambition of promoting calming, consistent schedules for winding down in preparation for a good night’s sleep.

Dr. Kimberley Bennett said: “It’s easy to underestimate how regulating routine can be. It helps children feel secure because they know what to expect. When it comes to bedwetting, a calm, predictable evening can make all the difference in helping children feel confident and in control.”

Pampers Ninjamas has also joined forces with British Olympian, TV Personality and Dad, Harry Aikines-Aryeetey: “As a parent who’s experienced bedwetting first-hand, I know how much it can affect a child’s confidence - especially during big transition periods such as returning or starting school. That’s why I’m so proud to be working with Pampers Ninjamas on the launch of the Reset the Routine resource, so that together we can help get the nation back-to-school ready. This activity chart is such a brilliant tool for families—it’s fun, practical, and genuinely helps to calm down the chaos of bedtime.”

TV GP, mum and Pampers Ninjamas brand partner, Dr Sara Kayat, agrees: “consistency at bedtime, as well as reducing fluid intake at least one hour before bed, doing a final wee before getting into bed and eating a healthy diet can help to minimise the impact of bedwetting[v]"

Pampers Ninjamas Pyjama Pants can help children manage their bedwetting to wake up feeling dry and confident. With instant absorption technology to lock away wetness instantly, Pampers Ninjamas offer 100% all-night leak protection. Pampers Ninjamas Pyjama pants look and feel like underwear, with a 360° FormFit Belt that flexes and stretches as well as Quietcloth material for a discreet and comfortable underwear-like fit.
