Pampers need a new size and design like in the US my eldest who can't grasp toilet training is 5 and doesn't like wearing nappies without sesame street. Pampers needs a size 6 for active fit or size 7 as my daughter will wet her pants and will never be trained!!!

I am experiencing terrible leaking problems with these nappies! They are fine in the day but awful at night! My daughter is 5months old and sleeps an average of 9 hours straight through the night. Unless I wake her up multiple times to change her then she is sodden by the early hours! This is disrupting her sleep pattern and is exhausting me!! I have now changed to using huggies at night but I am still using the active fit during the day as u bought in bulk and have 3 jumbo boxes. I can't really give them to a friend as they probably wouldn't speak to me again after experiencing these problems!!!! Sort it out pampers!!

The Active Fit were brilliant 5 years ago... Now I've come to use them again they are awful :( the protective net bit is no longer there and the nappie itself has a strange smell, worse of all though the tabs just rip off in my hand so I can't even use some of the nappies! I'm very dissapointed!

Wow these nappies are rubbish! Put one on my baby and about 2 minutes later they leaked, went all over clothes. Have used new born and they were alright, so I thought I would try pampers again..Think I will go back to huggies.

i do not recomend these nappies. they leak all the time they smell funny, not worth the money. these are ment to be the best brand around , i will not be using again.

i think these nappies are excellent, i have tried many many premium brands and supermarket brands and having given them a go will stick with pampers. I guess we all have our own preferences! Personally I thought Huggies were the worst! These fit my baby very well and we rarely have leaking, if we do it's normally because of the explosive volume!

These are the worst nappies I have ever used. They leak, there's is no padding towards the back so nothing gets absorbed. I have lost count the number of times I have had to completely change my daughter's clothes. I'd probably be better off not even using a nappy, because I have to keep washing all her clothes. If I was leaving my daughter ages before I changed her I would understand, but I change her every 2 hours! I have already complained to Pampers, and have been told they will be sending me some vouchers. Not good enough - Pampers - you need to redesign this nappy with more padding at the back and throughout. I think I will stick to the cheaper and more reliable supermarket own brands.

The new design is absolutely awful. Used Pampers exclusively for my eldest son but have found the new design a nightmare with my youngest son. The new active fit nappies have so much less padding than the old design that they are almost see through. There is no padding up the back so the nappies leak wee and poo extremely often. Am now stopping using Pampers and am looking into different brands.

personally with my little one the pampers are great! Tried other brands and they feel cheap and bulky! definately recommend pampers if your baby is in on the move!

Purchased Pampers size 3 & am disgusted at the quality.the tabs dont stick very well & keep loosening itself.its advestised as dry max but after 2 hours its soaked.also noticed one morning that it had whte crystals in it.not happy will stick to other brand

I would like to make a complaint about a pack of pampers active fit nappies I have purchased. As it is to my disgust the recent pack i have purchased has so far had 2 faulty nappies. On the first nappie the tab fell off so the nappy was unuseable and further more I was very shocked to change my babies nappy the morning after a sleep to find gel crystals all over my babies tummy as the nappy had popped and the inside of the nappy had been spilled out onto my baby had my baby managed to put a handful of the crystals in his mouth the results could have been fatel. I would like you too take my complaint seriously and acknowledge my concerns upon this poor manufactured product.

I think this new pampers are a waste of £9.99 I would not pay £1.99 there not worth the money. Bring back the old style pampers

Great nappies switched because the huggies leaked dry nappy wet baby because she squirms and moves a lot but now bone dry every change and the only redness she has is due to teething

these have to be the worst nappies EVER!! ive had nothing but leaks although i never had any problem at all with the old design i would not give away the nappies that i have left as they are useless. you try complaining and all you get is that you are using the wrong size, all us mums must be that daft that we are all using the wrong size!!! ive been using superdrug nappies and not had any problem at all!!

I'm actually gobsmacked at the amount of complaints about the new Active Fit. I haven't had a single problem with leaking or nappy rash. Also, I just want to point out that nappy rash isn't the fault of the nappy - it's cause by a child being in prolonged contact of wee or poo. My daughter only gets it when she is teething. So I don't see a problem with the new nappies and find that my two are more comfortable in the slim line nappies than they were with the bulkier ones.

I am extremly cross with pampers, i brought pampers active fit as huggies gave my son very bad nappy rash. but i brought a pack yesterday of pampers active fit which i thought was the old brand to find they were new, i thought id give it a try, but tonight i had to go buy some normal pampers as my sons bottom was so sore its started bleeding. i have sent a complaint to pampers and they will be recieving a complaint by phone tomorrow. ive never ever had this with the last active fit nappies why change them when there was nothing wrong with last ones, there is alot of very angry mums out there now. and im one of them, if this isn't sorted i will be contacting trading standards, my son will be going to the dr's tomorrow as he is in alot of pain. regardless of how much sudacreme i use, PAMPERS IM NOT IMPRESSED!!!!

Active Fit is good product..

I will no longer be using pampers. I have always been happy with pampers for my 2.5 year old but the easy up pants give off a terrible odour as soon as they are wet. Since purchasing a box of pampers for my 5 week old I have been convinced to change to another brand. Every nappy has leaked so far for both wet and soiled Nappies, with the contents coming out the back of the nappy. Very disappointing from such a big brand.

I used these active fit on my 5 month old daughter and for the very first time she leaked up the back of the nappy. Not impressed by the new active fit at all!

Its the fact that Proctor & Gamble do know there is a problem but they are unwilling to invest or admit in finding out why the leaks are taking place and why a percentage of babies are suffering. They can Xray nappies as much as they like and claim its the best ever but I can see from my own babies nappies when I hold them upto the light that we need the old padding back. Its a numbers game and profit is top priority. Even if they did work out what is causing issues they will never admit to it so you are doing the right thing and find alternative household and personal/baby products by another maker. P&G will never understand just how angry parents and what a PR disaster DryMax has been!

I can't believe the number of people still complaining about Pampers active fit and yet they are still selling them. I complained after the watchdog programme when it all became clear that the leaks (and not just wet ones), the nappy rash, the exaggerated excema, were not seperate incidents but actually due to the nappy change. I actually complained to pampers customer service as well as putting a review on here and pampers gave me a voucher, yes you guessed it, for their OWN products. Then they said they would like me to telephone them rather than email, is that so they do not have my concerns in writing? Boots however, where I brought them from offered a full refund or exchange of a different product. Pampers, you offer the worst customer service I have ever used. You have let many parents down with this product change. your excuses won't wash anymore. You need to admit that the new design is complete and utter rubbish. Not only will I no longer buy your nappies but I will now boycott ALL your products until you see sense and start listening to the PARENTS. Are there any soicitors out there who would like to take pampers to court? Surely there is a case of abuse and neglect if so many children are suffering chemical burns and rashes? If anyone knows of a good solicitor who thinks we have a case, please let me know. I would be willing to champion this.

New Pampers Active Fit - nightmare - I haven't purchased the product but have used the free samples which are enclosed with the "normal" pampers - I didn't twig the link - but after taking off my sons nappy tonight I feel really guilty as I realise the Nappy Rash he has suffered over the last couple of weeks can only be down to these nappies - today his bits look as if he has suffered horrific chemical burns - (his nappy was not even soiled, and it is in places that he would not normally suffer nappy rash in) I'm horrified that my son has suffered in this way and will obviously not buy or use this product in the future, but I would even go as far as to say Pampers need to seriously review even selling this product. Writing a review on anything is not usually my style, but I felt so strongly after listening to my sons screams when changing him today that I had to put my view across - and when logging on I couldn't believe that Pampers are obviously already aware of this problem and have issued no warning to parents.

I have used pampers with my daughter from birth, she is now nearly 2. I used the new 'improved' active fit nappies and although not had the same problems described above my daughter has had severe skin reaction to what I assume is a new chemical used in these thinner more absorbent nappies causing her pain and skin to break and bleed. Now changed.

I have also always used Huggies with my son, but I always used Pampers with my daughter. With this in mind, and armed with a Boots voucher for Pampers Atctivefit I bought two boxes of the nappies. That was last Wednesday. Every morning since, I have had to wash my sons bedding as they have leaked not only wee but also pooh. I have also recieved a complaint from nursery askeing to go back to huggies as they are having to change my son's clothes at least twice a day even though they are still changing him at least four times during the day. This is disgraceful. Toddlesr having to lie in their own faeces and urine because the nappies are sub standard. Boo to those who maitain that these nappies are 'better'! For whom? Are they cheaper to manufacture because thats the only benefit I can see. And before someone tells me to buy a bigger nappy.....My son is less than twelve months old and I have him in size 5 nappies. This was perfectly adequate when we were using huggies. Why should I have less nappies per pack just because Pampers are inadequate nappies. Most comments on here are negative, when will they listen to us?

I have used pampers for both my children and since they could toddle active fit, however the new design is terrable, my wee man i soaked right through more than once and last night it was in my bed ah....... i am really disappointed with these new nappies.

I have previously used Huggies nappies on my son and never had any problems. I then got sent a sample of active fit nappies and they were fantastic at night, as my son is a little wriggler! i went out and bought 2 boxes of the active fit nappies only to discover that they are the worst nappy i have ever used. the one i was sent must have been an old active fit nappy as the new ones are terrible. my son woke up at 1am completely soaked through. the lining in the nappy is not long enough and as my son sleeps on his front, the nappy has not absorbed anything and it all leaked out. i am now stuck wth 2 boxes of nappies i cannot use! what a waste of money! i will definately be going back to Huggies after my experience with pampers.

have used pampers active fit and baby dry for about 5 years 3 for my first daughter and 2 for my second but now thanks to this rubbish new design they have really made me loose confidance in them the reason is that after just changing my 2 year old she weed straight through her nappy this has happened every nappy since, they also have a horrible smell about them and have caused her to have a rash on her bottom, i have phoned the customer service team and they are sending me my money back, i just cant understand why they would change them when they were great, just wish they would go back to the old design

Yet another moan from me. After my last post on here complaining about the active fit nappies leaking soaking not only my son but also his clothes and sheets I did receive an email from customer support apologising for the problems that I had encountered and asking if I would like one of the customer care team to give me a call to discuss. I sent an email back and still I havent had a phone call or anything. Am really really disapointed in Pampers and am searching for another brand to use. The other annoying this is my partners mum spent £26.00 buying us two big boxes of the things so a total an untter waste of money.

We've been using Pampers from birth to now (3 months) on our boy. However, this new design smells of chemical when he wees, and his poss don't absorb as well into the nappy as they did with the previous technology. We're now looking at a brand change.

I have to say, I was very dubious about trying the new Active Fit with Dry Max following everything I'd heard about it. However, as my baby has just outgrown most other size 5 nappies, but isn't quite big enough for size 6s, my choices for size 5+ nappies were limited to just these the last time I went shopping! Pampers Baby Dry and the previous Active Fit didn't work very well for my baby at all. They leaked and gave him nappy rash. I was expecting these new Active Fit ones to be even worse after hearing about people's experiences with them, but actually I am pleasantly surprised! They've contained a rather explosive poo that most other nappies wouldn't (bar perhaps Huggies Natural Fit and Nature Babycare), and they also really do hold a lot of wee. My baby is a heavy wetter so I have to change him every couple of hours or so anyway, but he's actually been able to keep the Active Fit with Dry Max on for longer than average. I haven't yet tried them at night, but I'm not too concerned about the new lack of core at the back of the nappy as most of the core gets filled at the front of my baby's nappy anyway where he lies on his front. Overall I'm pleasantly surprised and I'd buy these again (in fact I'm waiting for a big box to arrive in the post now I know they suit my baby).

Awful, awful nappies i have always purchased Pampers for my little girl, but no more - they don't last through the night or even playtimes they really are the worst nappies ever produced - whoever decided to change these nappies needs to loose their job - yes they really are that bad!!!

Anyone thinking of buying pampers active fit nappies please do yourselves a favour and DONT! My son is a fidgit I will admit but I seem to have to change him and all his bedclothes 2 - 3 times a night where the nappies have leaked. I have also noticed during the day that they dont seem to absorb any liquid at all so Luke ends up wet after being in his nappy less than an hour.

i have being buying pampers nappies since my little girl was born. i am really unhappy that they have changed their active fit nappies. i have found my daughter constantly wakes up wet with the new nappies. so i am now looking for other nappies. very sad!

I thought I must just had a bad batch of nappies but having seen all these coments I see I am not the only one who has had many problems with the new active fits. My baby never wakes up wet and every day since i've had them she has woken wet, before she was really ready to wake.

i found that since i changed my daughter into the size 4 nappies because she was growing out of the size 3's that they have leaked over night when i get her up in the mornings i agree with everyone who says the old active fit nappies were better xx

They are bad designed and leak. It is the worst product I have ever seen, I can hardly imagine how such a ill-designed product can be brought to the market by a well-known brand.

I was thinking about buying the new active fit nappies, then i recived a couple of free ones in the post. When i tried them out my son was leaking all the time and they hadn't even been on for that long. Before that i was using the old active fit and they are alot better. My son slept for 10 hours at night and they don't leak. I think you should go back to the old active fit they were alot better.

i was so upset with the new nappies actifit before were without a doubt the best nappies the new ones are awful they contantly leaking dont last long enough and are no good for the night time as my little fella woke up wet every night and this never happened before its very frustrating!!! why mend things that were not broken to begin with???

I have now switched to Asda own brand which is much cheaper and lasts longer. I found I was changing nappies constantly and the pampers nappies leaked quite a lot. I'm sure Pampers have lots of research to prove me wrong, but as soon as I switched nappies the problems disappeared. My advice is to trust what parents say, not lab coats!

Well according to Proctor & Gamble they have not had enough complaints (phone them or email them). these nappies are terrible start to smell really quickly with only wee. They are too thin and have made my baby's bottom red and sore looking for the first time ever. I really don't like them and feel angry that I fell for the marketing hype and bought a bumper pack.

not a fan of these my daughter now has to be changed every 2 hours or more and has come out in a rash for the first time since she was born. she is fine with simply dry or golden sleep pampers but as she now walks i wanted active fit i had a pack of the old bulkier active fit and her bum was fine but these new ones horrible bring back the old ones

the new nappy is terrible. My toddler has never had nappy rash until they changed the design. She has aslo started to wake twice a night for her nappy change because it leaks. During the day even if shes jus had a little wee the nappy becomes really saggy and looks and feels as though shes had it on all day but she may have only had it on 30mins and once again leaks. Really terrible quality, will not be buying them again.

These nappies are no better for toddlers either. Bought these new nappies and now having to change my daughter's nappies twice as often. These nappies are terrible i went up to give my daughter her last bottle around 10pm she'd been in the nappy 3 hours max and i had to change her sheets and her pjs they were damp!! Bring back the old ones honestly my little lady didnt mind the extra bulk cause they actually kept her dry.

I wrote a letter to pampers after using these nappies expressing how disappointed I was with them. I got totally fobbed off saying just use a larger size! THEY ARE NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE! They leak both poo and wee, even within minutes of putting them on and have totally ruined two of my daughters outfits. I am so angry that I have wasted my money on these nappies (I bought 2 jumbo packs). I have lost all confidence with the pampers brand; I was happy with pampers baby dry however I will no longer buy pampers at all on principle and will be using a different and probably lot cheaper brand.

It may be the thinnest nappies ever but that's about the best thing I can say about them. After about an hour my baby looked like he'd been wearing the nappy all day as the crotch area was almost by his ankles. I also found that within a few days of wearing the nappy, my baby developed a horrendous case of nappy rash. Really horrible. It may be a coincidence but I switched back to Pampers Baby Dry and the rash cleared up. But when I had to go away from home for a few days & the only nappies available were Active Fit, back came the rash with a vengeance. I shan't be using Active Fit nappies again. Zero stars for this product!

Have always used Pampers but now re-considering. Lack of padding at the back of the nappy results in leaks every night! Last night, first night in ages had to change nappy at 2am. Then at 6.30am - we still had wet vest, babygro and cot sheet. The nappy was not even that heavy. Can't wait until current pack is finished, might buy another brand to use at night.

Always used to love these nappies but after all the bad press I had avoided them like the plague. I have recently bought a pack just too find out what all the fuss was about as it's difficult to get branded 4+ nappies...and I have to say I am very disappointed with them. No leaks but then my daughter hasn't had a poo in any yet! Can't believe there is zero padding up the back (even the Simply Dry ones have some wadding in this area and are cheaper!), and after around an hour in them they hang down between my daughter's legs as if they've been on for 4 hours not 1. They feel saturated and fit to burst. Can't wait to use them up and go back to Tesco's own Superfit equivalent which have been far superior. I won't be using any Pampers Active Fit again I'm afraid P&G!

The new active fit are rubbish they are that thin i can actually feel my son weeing... my son has been in active fit since size 3 and he is almost 2 yrs but im affraid i will be changing the brand... Nappies are not cheap, but the one thing you look for in a nappy is that it does nt leak and again im affraid to say these new ones just leak all the time, really not happy, pampaers what ever you done, change back put the padding back...

The new Active Fit are complete and utter rubbish bring back the old ones is what I say !!! They leak poo out of the back of the nappy at the top. The amount of clothes that has been ruined is unbelieveable !! Also in one instant my son was laid on our bed and filled is nappy which then leaked and of course it went all over our bed I was not impressed nappy's shouldn't do this especially top brand ones. All you need to do pampers is put the padding back in. The old active fit were fantastic and I wouldn't buy any other nappy. It has taken me over a month to find something that I'm 75% happy with and unfortunately for you it was Pampers!!

sorry, P&G, don't know what you've done with the latest nappies, but they are RUBBISH. We've used Pampers since my baby was tiny with almost no leaks at all, and have now had 3 leaks in 2 weeks. One of them was during her lunchtime nap and so her bed was also soaked. Annoyingly I'd just bought a massive box when we had the first leak, so the poor little mite is going to have to continue to wear them and risk leaking until we finish them. But then I'll be looking for an alternative brand.

I'm pretty sure that pampers have changed the active fit nappies twice this year cos I have definitely bought 3 different ones. The original ones were great, then there was the 'new improved liner' ones which were purple on the inside - they were terrible, the wee seemed to seep through the nappy but the new thinner ones are great - I'll definitely be buying them again and I'd love to get 1 of those balls from the advert - my little boy would love it!

i am very disappointed in the active fit nappies i have recently changed from new baby to these as she sleeps right through the night they just didn't have the absorbency these nappies leave her wet after she has had a wee when they are wet they really sag and they also cut into her thighs and they are not to small as she is only 14lb and wearing a size 3 i have decided that i wont be using these nappies any more and will look for another brand

I have just started using the active fit nappy for my 4 month old and to say I'm disappointed is the understatement of the year. They seem totally unable to hold his poo and he frequently has it all up his back, the worse time being in the middle of his Christening service which made a very special day unnecessarily stressful!! I had heard about all the complaints regarding active fit and how it had been featured in the bbc watchdog but didn't pay much attention to it and ended up buying them for my 6 month old daugther out of my loyalty with the pampers brand. When I started using them at night (as suggested by pampers) my daugther woke up in the middle of the night because her pamper had leaked from the back. I thought it was because I hadn't put it on properly so the next night the pamper leaked again. This time I thought it was because I was using a smaller size and so the next night put her to bed in size 4 which as expected leaked again. I am very dissapointed with active fit and now have realized why all the mums have been complaining. Like many others I had also bought two jumbo packs as they were on offer at boots for £14 (what a waste of my money). I don't think I'll ever use active fit again, baby dry used to work fine but not sure if pampers have changed them. I am now thinking of trying other brands as the past three nights have been very stressful for me.

I have just switched my 4 month old baby from New baby pampers onto the new active fit dry max nappies, and i must say that i am shocked at hoe unreliable these nappies are at being able to hold in my baby's loose stools!! The new baby nappies were brilliant they have the mesh inside and are padded right the through the nappy. The active fit dry max are not padded all the way through and are very very thin, so much so that since using these nappies my baby leaks up her back and through the sides of the nappy!!. I have to make sure i always carry plent of spare clothes when out and about now just in case she decides to go to the loo, cos i know that these nappies will leak. I like pampers however i am really disappointed in this new dry max nappies they are rubbish, im thinking of switching brands just for the fact that i cant keep cleaning everything all the time from the result of this poorly designed nappy!

having used pampers active fit for my first little boy ( who is now nearly five) & had no problems or bad experiences with AT ALL,i recommended them to all of my family & friends when they had children over the baby dry & any other make of nappy as i was so impressed. I didn't hesitate to go down the same route again when i had my second baby boy ( just turned 10 months) & i must say that i never had any problems with the active fit up until the day i bought the 'new and improved, dry max'..... WHAT A LOAD OF RUBBISH THEY ARE!!!! They don't do their job what so ever, they have no mesh top sheet anymore (which i must say was a genius idea), no padding at the back... WHY??????. i have also noticed a white ring of residue around my little boys 'little man' which makes it sore. they don't seem to sit right round the legs either causing leakages and this with the lack of padding at the back when he does his explosion of sloppyness i not only have baby clothes to be washed but my clothes & a baby to bath as it ends up everywhere.... & boy do i mean everywhere!!! when he is in his walker as he is doing it, it can come straight down his legs and on a couple occasions has ended up trodden round my carpet by him in the matter of seconds it takes to get everything to hand for operation clean up.... :( nappys cost a lot of money and mums need a product they can trust to do their job properly to keep our precious babys happy, they've decided to make it 20% thinner meaning we use more of them so therefore buy more. we don't need the extra cost of changing our babys every 2 mins which then can also cause sore bottoms and extra costs on creams which would be unnecessary if pampers hadn't of fixed something that wasn't broke and nobody had any problems with. BRING BACK THE OLD ACTIVE FIT.... LISTEN TO US MUMS BECAUSE EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT MUMS KNOW BEST!!!!

I thought I'd post because I found these nappies to be great. My little girl is 7 months and I've always used Pampers until I got a voucher for a free pack of huggies. I tried them and was hooked as I found they were better at containing baby poo. However now she is rolling and moving I've found that the huggies don't fit too well. I was sent some samples for active fit and I think they are great. The fit is fantastic and it allows so much more freedom for my little one to move. I also love the fact that the nappy is not bulky. I have never found them to leak even overnight and even though she moves so much whilst asleep and those nappies are as heavy as bricks the next day (lol)

I used pampers active fit for my daughter who is now 8 so when i had my son i naturally went back to using them. My son is 22 months and for the past month or so i have had no stop leakages through the night and day. To state that they are the driest ever is an insult! Im off to buy Huggies and put an end to the misery these nappies are causing my son!

i agree with all these comments about these new active fit dry max should be wet max forever changing my little boys clothes ive always been a fan of pampers but lately lots of people have gone to huggies because of this poor design ive gone back too old pampers baby dry has anyone had any refunds from pampers for there inconveniance

I have always used pampers since day one and I thought i was going a bit mad when these new active fit nappies started to leak - I've never had a problem with them before. Boy am I glad I clicked on this website!!! PAMPERS HAVE RUINED THIS PRODUCT! Having stripped the bed for the second time at stupid o'clock in the morning with a screaming little girl who really didnt want to be undressed and changed, I think it should be advertised to avoid this product at all costs. They're saggy, they leak, they don't stay fastened, they don't fit around the legs...arrrggh the list is endless. BRING BACK THE OLD DESIGN, PAMPERS. IF IT AINT BROKE-DONT FIX IT!

I do my best to avoid using petroleum based products on my baby, I don't even use them for myself. So I was horrified to find that these nappies contain petroleum and therefore will not be using them again. They active unfit since they leek frequently.

I used to be a big fan of Active Fit nappies but that is no more. The new design is terrible. Poor babbies & toddlers! Many of my friends will never buy the new design ones again. Looking at other reviews on many websites, there are so many mums who are clearly very unhappy with this new active fit nappy design. I wish Pampers put their hand up and admitted to their big mistake. They should be called max leak instead of dry max. If Pampers would like to help us all but especially help our babies and toddlers to stay dry, clean & comfortable, bring back the old active fit nappy PLEASE!!! Dry nappies mean happy babbies.

We have always used Pampers and never had any real problems. Since the design on the Active Fit nappies has changed we have a little girl who regularly gets up in the morning soaked through which means change of PJs and bedding. Also find that she has a "fluffy bum" because of bits coming off the nappies and these often irritate if not cleaned off properly. Also, with just a normal pee the nappy seems to be hanging down about her knees in no time at all, not nice when she has a skirt on!! Have spoken with some friends who are finding the same thing with New Baby ones as well. Not good. Going to get going with the potty training so that we don't have to put up with this awful design any longer :-(

I loved Pampers but never used the active fit because i got on so well with the normal "night time nappies" all day, however recently they started spilling the clear beads and leaking slightly, so we decided to try active fit. MISTAKE! since then i have had to wash the car seat and buggy due to bad leaks, with in 30 mins the nappy hands so low my baby struggles to cruise and he now has his first ever nappy rash!! Also poo ends up in the front of his nappy instead of staying back! I never had these problems before and i have only been using these for a week!! as soon as these are gone il be looking to a new nappy!

i cant believe i wasted my money on these nappies! they are the worst ones ever, they leak everywhere and gave my baby a very sore bottom, pampers have now lost custom as i wont be buying them anymore and have gone on to buying huggies which are so much better.

I think ive made a huge mistake...... i picked a small bag (26) as my others wouldnt last till wednesday. and im completely gobsmacked...... im sorry but........................... wheres the padding in them.... i have thicker toilet paper. Ive always used pampers on my kids, and by god, these must be the thinest yet.... i can see pampers losing custom soon, if they dont remove these off the open market. im gonna get on with these like i do Huggies. (NO CHANCE)

Brand loyalty DESTROYED! My little girl experienced a severe rash and abject misery due to the new style nappies. I was unable to pinpoint any cause other then the change to the active fit nappies. We have always used Pampers but have switched brands. Result: once a very sore little girl now better with no more rash or leaks at night. Unlike Marks and Spencer who held their hands up when they made a fatal mistake by announcing they were going to charge more for larger sized bras, Pampers appear not to be prepared to make any kind of statement unless it is to 100% defend their product (everbody gets it worng sometimes, it what you do about the mistakes that maintains consumer trust, loyalty and desire to purchase!) The old style were the absolute best nappies I ever used. Enough said . . .

RUBBISH! dont hold wee, and brought my daughter out in a bad rash and blisters! going back to the simply dry!

Oh my god, I thought it was just me as I've only just switched from the new born to active fit! Loved the new born dry max!! But the active fit are useless!! I'm constantly changing my baby but these awful things have given him nappy rash!! its not so much the wee that's a problem, they just don't absorb the poop at all!! I'm furious as I've got 2 big packs but i refuse to keep using them! Why are they so different???? Anyone got any suggestions of some better nappies i could try??

I have taken these back packs of these on several occasions believing there was a fault with them, no 'mesh' lining on top and absolutely no padding at the rear. I did have same prob with a pack of the 'old' ones just before the new packaging was introduced. I do hope i am right and this is not the 'new' design!

I bought Active fit Pampers for the first time and they are disastrous. My baby is wearing them for no more than half an hour and they are wringing wet. Leaking and causing more mess than necessary. I think Pampers should do a recall and produce something much better for us parents. Its a sad move in the productivity of Pampers.

I am really disappointed with pampers new active fit. Like all the other comments have said they leak even when they haven't been on for an hour. They have to be changed a lot quicker than the old active fit as they don't hold as much due to the lack of padding in the back. I saw pampers on watchdog regarding these new active fit. The woman from pampers said that these have come as a result of feedback from mum's. What i would like to know is which "mums" are these cos I've not heard one mum say a good thing about them. Bring back the old pampers otherwise you will loose most of your custom. Big mistake pampers, sort it out!!!

Extremely disappointed with the 'new and improved product!' It leaks both no. 1's and 2's (even within the time it takes to get a clean nappy.) We have not had leakers in months, but now they are a daily occurence. So the washing is a nightmare again. We also get 'pips' which are little tiny bits of the nappy that have come away once wet and formed tiny balls. You end up chasing these when changing a nappy, as i think they would cause issues with chaffing if not cleared properly. Did pampers really get asked for a thinner product? I and the mums I have spoken to do not feel this is an issue. This new product needs to be removed and the old one returned. I have now changed product and it will take a lot of effort from Pampers to get their previously loyal customers back.

As soon as I started using the new Active Fit, my daughter woke up wet in the morning! Not just, once or twice! This has never happened before so I know it is just the new nappy. Pampers why oh why did you have to change such a good product. I am afraid I will not be buying Active Fit anymore. Please go back to the old design pretty please

I was also very disappointed with these new nappies my daughter has never leaked before but with these new designs she wakes up soaked through, i will not be using the nappies again and i have changed to a supermarket brand that is a lot cheaper and keeps her dry through the night.

Did we ever say we were unhappy with the old Active Fit? Did we say we wanted less bulk? No doubt pampers has saved plenty by producing something more compact but that is, in fact, just half a nappy. I'm sure the padded is part is still wonderful and the stretchy bits still move with my baby, but what about when he is sat on my lap and has a poo explosion? I now get zero absorption thanks to the lack of padding at the back and the whole lot on his clothes. I just bought two packs of these thinking they were still the old style which I thought were excellent but will be taking these back to the store. Please, please show that you care about your customers and that your online forum and customer feedback isn't all for nothing. Surely responding to your customers is the sign of a really good make that people will then want to be loyal to. Ad it is, I'll be moving to another brand as of tomorrow. Any suggestions anyone?

I was deeply disappointed with the changes to the design and have reluctantly switched brands in the last week. I have used Pampers on my 7 month old since birth with no problems - since the design change her nappy has leaked every single night. I am also very disappointed that Pampers are refusing to rethink the re-design decision, especially in light of the large volume of complaints they have received.

I'm quite surprised at most of the comments on the new Active fit nappy. I've being using it for a while now and have got no problem with it. It doesn't leak as it stays on my son's bottom for 12hrs (ie throughout the night till next morning) with no leak and with fact he drinks water a lot. So, i'm quite happy and comfortable with the new DRY MAX Active fit pampers.

These are the worst nappies ever. I have been using active fit for 2 months with not 1 leak, got the new ones last week and have had a leak every night!!! I am sick of washing my babies bedding every night as it soaks right through her sleepsuit and sleeping bag to the shee. What are you going to do about this Pampers??? you have seen the feedback, you must listen and change them back otherwise you will lose so much - I will definitely not buy these nappies again. Please bring back the old ones as I don't want to switch to another brand

I bought the new style active fit nappies last week as they were on offer in my local sainsburys. i have used active fit nappies for my 2 year old since she was 8 months old and have never been disappointed. However, these new ones are just terrible. the absorbant padding is so thin i have to change my daughter so much more often and at some point everyday so far she has leaked through the nappy and at night she has leaked out the back as the padding doesn't go as high up the back as the old style. i am very disappointed and as i am not in a financial position to just throw these away i shall use them all and probably just swap to huggies or boots own brand. sort it out pampers you have ruined your own product.

I only bought these nappies as they were on special offer and never again! They leaked and my wee girl was soaked through a few times. Had to change her very frequently. Will stick to EasyUp pants or Huggies! Even Tesco pull-up pants were much better - value for money and dry!!

My little boy is now 22 months and I have been using pampers for him since he was born, I am also a midwife and we use nothing else but pampers at work either and would never had considered recommending anything else. However I purchased the new active fit nappies in the old packaging not aware of any change until 3 or 4 mornings where my little boy was wet through - wet nappy, wet pyjamas, wet bedding, damp mattress. I have been using pampers active fit for nearly a year now have had no problems and would never have used anything else however I'm fed up and he is now in huggies and I would consider using an alternative brand also for my expectant baby. Pampers- are you going to do anything about these new nappies and the disappointed mums and baby's????????

Very disappointed with these new nappies. I have used pampers since my daughter was born and she has been wearing the active fit from 5 months (she is now 10 months). The old style nappies were perfect, great fit, no leaks at all, felt nicely padded. The new style I have only been using for the past week and they are awful! several leakages so am now changing her nappy more than I used to, there is a definite smell of urine after sleeping at night, with or wiothout a leak. When are pampers going to bring back the old style. There have been so many complaints! I have always been loyal to pampers and recommended them to friends but I am going to be trying other brands now and will only return if the old active fit nappies are reintroduced! Very disappointed.

I purchased the new type nappy in the old style box and thought what the hell??? there must have been a mix up. Tried using them and they were no where as near as good as the usual ones. Then I had to purchase another box so got 2 for £20 in ASDA as usual. Well I was shocked to see they had changed them these new nappies are AWFUL!!! A waste of money as I cannot use them. My daughter has also slept all night every night but now wakes up soaking through her vest and pj's every single morning with them. I have had no alternative but to change brands but am also trying to toilet train my daughter earlier than expected due to the problems. I do hope that pampers bring back the old type I would give them 5 stars and the new ones 0. The even start falling down as soon as my daughter stars running around and yes there are the correct size. The old ones were perfect! I am soooo disappointed :-(

I Have Always used active fit nappies before they changed them they were the best nappies out, but since they have changed them i think they are the worst nappies that there is!, my 4month old daughter never leaked but with these new one she has leaked so many times, the dont keep hold of the smell aswell either, they also have ginen her a horrible nappy rash, i have had to change her nappies now! these nappies are nothing compared to the old ones, i believe that you should bring back the new ones to satisfy your contumers before you loose alot of your custom! pampers have really surprised me! i thought you was the best going but now im not so sure! get the old nappies back!

Wow! I was recently informed that Pampers was mentioned on Watchdog as a result of the changes made to the new Pampers Active Fit nappies and seeing some of the comments made has left me saying... Wow! My husband recently purchased an economy pack of Active Fit and my first question was, "What are they?" as the packaging was different. On opening the package I had to look twice at the size of the nappy and almost faded print of the Sesame Street characters that were once bold and vibrant on the previous version. On using them there have been a couple of instances where leakage has occurred (thankfully not with the stinkies!) and noticed a stronger smell of the nappy when my daughter's wet, but I have not experienced no where near the mishaps and disappointment as many users [or now previous users]. I do prefer the previous version of Pampers Active Fit, as the absorbancy and general quality of the nappy instilled, and lived up to, the confidence I had in the product. I do feel for the children and parents that have had such a negative experience with these nappies [some of which my daughter experienced when using Huggies shortly after birth] and can only hope they don't happen to my little angel.

I previously wrote a comment on here stating how awful the new nappies were. I had a phone call from someone at pampers saying that the nappies with the leaflet in were just 'transition stage' nappies and would I be willing to try the new improved nappies (the ones in the new packaging). I did this and am on my final one FINALLY. These are even WORSE than the 'transition stage nappies'. The first nappies gave nappy rash (which I was asked if I had changed washing powder), but these ones my daughter has even worse nappy rash spreading to her legs! They do not absorb, the nappy always sags as if she has had it on all day, therefore I am changing her so often now. The smell is just awful, she always smells of urine as if she doesn't wash. My daughter has slept through the night since she was 6 weeks old and she is now waking up every night. Some nights her babygrow and vest are soaking wet with urine, other nights she just needs to be changed. I am so disappointed in pampers, I have always told new mums/friend that pampers were the best and advised them to use them, I am now advising people not to use them as they are just AWFUL. I have now decided that I am going to potty train my daughter a year earlier then I did with my son as I can't bear these nappies anymore. Pampers you really need to sort these nappies out. Look at how many people have complained. I don't care that these new nappies are thinner, I would rather have the old active fit back, thicker but so much better.

I had previously used the old active fit nappies and was extremley happy. However the new ones are awful. My daughter has never suffered with nappy rash, but they gave her horrific rash, they leaked and don't hold the odour. My little girl also been waking up in the middle of the night wet uncomfortable and not happy, where as previously she was sleeping through the night. I am now having to change her to get her to settle back down. How pampers can say that these are better than the old style I don't know. I am now using a different brand of nappy and have been left extremley dissappointed by a brand I thought I could trust. Pampers- get your act together

i have bought several packs of the new nappies recently and have found them rubbish i used to put my son to bed at night and have no worries that he would be ok till morning but ever since they have changed he has been damp and wet in the morning, Bring back the ones before as these are absolute rubbish and i am trying other brands to see how they fair!

I have been using Pampers Active fit for nearly a year now & i was very happy with them, my son now 20mth NEVER had a nappy rash.......until recently when the new packs were in use, i am really not happy with them, besides giving my son the reddest blistered bottom, they are really not drier, he seems to leak more in these. I am now trying to find a nappy that doesnt cause my son any harm.

i want to complain about the size 3 midi nappies that i bought from asda last week. they were on special offer 2 boxes of 76 nappies for £18 so i got them as i am happy with the odour control and size of those nappie. i opened one box which i keep at my mums and they were fine, i then got home and opened the second box to find a leaflet inside the nappy plastic saying that they had changed the nappies n would appreciate the feed back. well i found that these nappies are less padded and leak and also dont hold the smell. i am overly angry that on the box there was no sign at all saying that the product had been changed because if i had seen this i would not have purchased that box because of previous experience with the pampers change of product. i dont see how they think that takin out most of the padding from the nappies would help in any way, nappies have a job to do and if they are doing it ok and you are not having any complaints then i dont see why you would change the product. i think that the nappies that have been changed should be recalled and the product should stay the same. its not about what looks good its about what does the job right.

Sadly the only way forward is to report to Trading Standards everyone (contact these people and they will pass on your complaint for you to TS http://www.consumerdirect.gov.uk/ ). Proctor and Gamble just dont care - its all about big bucks and they do not care how or who they hurt in the process. A nappy is NOT a fashion accessory, it does NOT need to be thinner - it has a job to do. Clearly the new design and printed on chemicals are not effective. These nappies are not fit for the purpose sold and should be recalled.

the nappy that pampers show in the new tv advert for the dry max active fit has got the old lining in it with the weave top layer and the lining in it goes right to the back, so unless people read this web site they will buy active fit thinking that they are exactly the same as they were but thinner, why aren't they showing the nappy as they really are to save people wasting more money on them

Where is 5+ size. Also as above not impressed!!! The old ones were much better and i shall also be changing brand.

I brought a pack of size 5 active fit before leaving town I changed my daughters nappy before the half hour drive home in that half hours drive not only were my daughters clothes and car seat soaked but poo had also leaked through the unpadded back. That night she screamed everytime she wee'd because they'd given her a very nasty nappy rash! unless i see the old active fit which I used all the time I wont be putting pampers in the trolley again!

I do agree with all the comments on this thread. PLEASE BRING BACK THE 'OLD' ACTIVE FIT NAPPIES BACK!!! I bought 4 packs size 3, 2 months ago. 2 of them where from the 'old' batches and the other 2 where from the new dry max ones. Believe me when I say that the dry max nappies and packs are 3 cm. smaller in lenght than the 'old' ones!!!! I have made pictures as proof!. Also, these new ones leak and get quite bulky from the 1st wee from my daughter. I even use size 4 !!! for nightimes and have to change them during the night!!! I have only heard bad experiences with these new nappies from friends and some are even swithcing brands. Please restore the old 'supernappies' ASAP!!!

Agree with the other posters - very miffed at the poor quality of the new DRY MAX nappies. Will be switching to supermarket own brand until they reinstate the old Active Fit nappies again. We were up half the night last night washing and changing my daughter who was soaked through with wee - not impressed!

I am glad to see from reading other comments that is isnt just me who has found the new nappies to be not as good as the older style. I also have found them to leak which has never happened before and and i am getting through way more nappies than before, as one pee and they are saggy and uncomfortable. Now when i go shopping i try to find the old Active fit or buy other brands as i do not want my baby waking up from a sleep with a wet back.

these nappies leak plus even with the smallest wee the nappy would start to dangle between her legs as she is very slim they would even swing a bit when she ran. This was before I found out the nappies I had been buying for a year and a half had been sneakily altered. The swinging nappy problem on closer inspection was due to the lack of absorbent material at the back of the nappy, therefore creating a 'pendulum' effect. I was a very loyal customer; however we just can't continue to use them. Let us know if you change them back please!

My daughter has always used pampers active fit but now we are going to change to another brand.

Both my daughters have always used pampers active fit, I thought it was a bad batch I had bought for my 8month old daughter, when I noticed the absorbent material appeared to stop half way through the nappy. In the mornings, she is drenched through, which goes right through to her cot sheet! I was ready to write to pampers to complain, until Ive noticed this is a new nappy all together! Hurendous! & unfortunately for the first time in 3 years, I will be having to change brands!!!

I'm sorry, but I have to agree, the active fit nappies just aren't as good as they were. I have spoken to friends and they are having the same problems. I'd also noticed that the packs before the changeover had the lack of core. The last thing you expect a clean nappy to do is leak as soon as you've put it on because your child wees while on their back, on the changing mat. With the absorbent core stopping well before the elasticated waist, where is the wee supposed to go. Pampers just put back the absorbent core, the whole way up the back, and let us know when you have.

my daughter is 19 months old and we have used pampers active fit since she was 6 months old. i would have recommended these nappies to everyone until the recent change. now they are TERRIBLE!!!!! within half an hour the nappy is hanging heavily down like she has drunk a litre of fluid, they feel heavy and full so quickly. No leaks here, but I change her so frequently now that a jumbo pack is finished in just over a week! If she is wearing leggins the nappy looks so bulky it needs changing much more often and I WILL NOT be buying the new active fit nappies again. hopefully pampers will lose so many customers that they will be forced to review the outcome of their changes. absolutely dreadful and very disappointing since the nappies were 5 stars before and now i would not rate them at all.

The new nappies are appalling, we have never had leaks before using the 'new and improved' Active Fit nappies. Having only ever used Pampers for both my children I will now be switching brands.

Very disappointed with the new active fit nappies, I have had to do full clothes and bedding changes in the middle of the night for the first time since I switched to active fit. As far as I can see the nappy uses half the padding and charges the same price!! You must put padding up the back of the nappy. Using my last old active fit tonight and off to buy huggies in the morning.

No sheep here I think these people genuinely had problems with these just like me, I posted a while back that my daughter had leaked in these for the 1st time ever and I will never buy these nappies again. I do wonder though, cynically, whether this was a ploy. I bought mine before they changed to their new packaging and wonder whether they were a little sneaky and made them less absorbent before relaunching them and making them more absorbent - so everyone thinks wow these are so much better! When I say the old ones were better I mean several months ago when they were thicker. Looking now at the video on here they seem to have the absorbent layer right up the back of the nappy, whereas the ones I had had absolutely nothing at the back, just the paper stuff like is on the side flaps! I am too scared though to retry these incase they are as rubbish - unless pampers send out some samples so I can see if they are now better than back in April. D:)

I honestly don't know why there are so many people complaining about these nappies. I have had 3 children and my youngest is 2 years old. She drinks a lot of juice and as a result, has full nappies! I was a bit worried when I first bought them because of the negative comments on here, but I'm really impressed with them. They are thinner, which means much more comfortable for my daughter and they have NEVER leaked, not even once! I've nearly finished my second pack and still NO leaks. I keep waiting for a leak and NOTHING! They seem much more absorbent than the previous ones too weirdly, even though they are thinner! If they are leaking for everyone else, why aren't they doing the same on my daughter? I personally think that a lot of these complaints are due to the sheep effect. Just my opinion.

Just thought I'd add my comments to say that I am in total agrrement with all the mums on here. My daughter had used active fit from about 4 months until recently and had no problems. Since the new improved design we are changing nappies more times than I can count, going through more clothes than ever before and having a generally bad experience with them! She can't even get through an hour an a half nap in the afternoon without waking up soaking and me needing to change all the bedding.. Thankfully we have now used the nappies we had and have changed to Huggies and normal service has been resumed - happy baby and happy parents!

Like many other parents who have posted here - I have only ever used Pampers Active Fit for my daughter who is now 15 months old - I've always been very happy with them only had the odd leak probably due to me not fitting the nappy correctly. However, since Pampers have changed the design of the Active Fit nappy and reduced the absorbant core at the back of the nappy, I experience regular leaks. I firmly believe Pampers have changed the design not to improve it, but as a cost cutting exercise. Remove most of the absorbant lining to reduce their costs, still charge parents the same and fob us off by pretending it's to make it a slimmer fit. Come on?! Who cares about slimmer fit? Parents care that the nappy doesn't leak, is comfortable and reduces nappy rash. My daughter is now regularly damp where the urine has leaked through the back of the nappy where the absorbant lining is now non-existent. Also, after a short time the nappy is very heavy and hangs down, causing the urine and mess to leak from the leg bands. I contacted pampers telling them about this and their response was they believe this to be the most absorbant nappy ever - my answer to that - NO IT'S NOT. They also suggested my daughter may be in the wrong size if it's leaking - my answer to that - NO SHE'S NOT. I have a few of the old design Active Fit left and when I use these she doesn't leak. However, the same size in the new design do. She is in size 4. Size 3 are too small and 4+ seem marginally worse than 4. She is far too small for the next size up. Reluctantly I am going to try Huggies - I would like to stay with Pampers, but you've given me no choice.

i have always used pampers for my daughter but i am not happy with the new design for active fits! i am using more nappies than usuall as after i have changed her within half an hour she needs changing again it doesnt seem to hold as much wee! the nappy really sags and she is leaking aswell not good am considering trying huggies!!

I agree, i have been ising activefit for a long time and they have been fine up to now. thy were soft and kept my little girl dry i was impressed, although now i find them awful. even after having the nappy on for about half an hour they are sagging, and every morning i have to change her sheets on her bed because they are either wet or coverd in poo.I have a full pack of new activfit nappies which i will not be using ( waste of money) Also if you want to save money on making these nappies why not just get rid of the cartoon pictures on them no one see's them anyway, Whats more important silly pictures or customers who are happy with the quailty and reliability of these nappies.

I didnt realise tht pampers had changed the style of the nappies. Well i must say that i am going to be using another brand now as for the past 7days now my little boys have been wet through the nappies just dont hold anything in, cant even hold wee or poo in while there asleep even tried changing the nappies in the middle of the night but this didnt work either got the same situation again. agree with u about the vouchers why would we want them for more nappies tht have the same problem. We have had to go out and buy new mattress's for the boys cots as they wo that bad!! Not impressed!

Really, really disappointed with Pampers. The new "driest nappies ever" active fit do not do the job they claim. This is false advertising, as my daughters nappies are constantly leaking. Since using the new nappies, I have had to start taking 2nd and 3rd changes of clothes, and my washing load has increased. Also, why are we paying the same price for a inferior product?

I tried huggies but found them a bit bulky ,i bought three packets of active fit thinking they were the old style because there was no card inside when i opened them they were the new ones i have been using them up but i cant stand the mess anymore,yesterday because it was so hot i took my little boy out in just a t-shirt and nappy,lets just say the pushchair now needs a good scrub and this morning the same thing happened all over the carpet. No i didnt like huggies but they are easier to put up with than the mess and pampers everytime we complain stop sending vouchers for nappies that are no good.

I am of the same opinion - the old nappy was great, used them for years with my kids. Bought a new pack (which had no indication that anything had changed!) and i noticed straightaway that these are not the same nappy anymore. As others have posted - got leaks. Thought it was just down to my baby but was then surprised to see an article on BBC's Watchdog where loads of us mums have been complaining. We have switched to babydry for now but are looking for a new brand as i feel disappointed that pampers have changed something without telling anyone about it. There was no indication on the packs - just a little card inside the pack. I see that there is loads of advertising now about the "new" activefit but i think that pampers have made a big mistake and are trying to "shut the gate after the horse has bolted". Bring back the old design please as the new one just does not stand up as a replacement...are you gonna listen to your customers or your design panel? I bet that sales have suffered which is the best indication of what people think. Just put padding up the back like the old nappy had!

Active fit has been the only nappy that i can use for my son who is disabled and can only get around by rolling around, and pushing backwards. I have been using them for around about a year and a half to 2 years now, but sadly now i think i am going to have to change nappies! I found it very difficult with other brands of nappies because they would leak! Now that pampers active fit has changed their nappies, the nappies have started to leak (which has not happened in the past!) and now i am back to the beginning, looking for another nappy that will not leak! I am very disappointed with the new pampers active fit-dry max!!

I purchased these nappies as have tried every brand of nappies and eventually found actifit to be the best. However I recently purchased the 'new style' nappies, not realising that the design had changed. I really don't like the new ones at all... There is no padding at the back at all which means when little one is lying down they leak. Previously the old style pampers were the only ones I'd found that didn't leak and now they've gone and changed the design. I've also noticed that they give off a funny odour when my son has urinated, which did not happen with the previous style. I've tried in one day swapping between old and new to see if it's my sons urine that smells and it is definitely the nappy. It is such a shame as I was converted to Pampers (by a friend) about 6 months ago and I can safely say that when I've finished this bulk box I've just purchased (sadly!) I won't be purchasing anymore Pampers Actifit. (unless of course they revert back to the old design!).

Yes chesterfield us mums are not that thick that we dont know where our babys pee from,what we are saying is that if there is no padding in the nappy then there is nowhere for the pee to go in the first place, and out of the thousands of customers or ex customers out there you are probably just one of the lucky ones that hasnt had any problems with the new design YET!!

I can't understand why everyone is complaining about these nappies. They are easily the best on the market. My 9 month old daughter is the wriggliest, most active baby I have ever known and we have not had a leak with either the old style or the new nappies. I much prefer the new ones, they are less bulky and fit my daughter much better. She sleeps for 12 hours straight at night and the nappy is extremely full in the morning - and NO LEAKS!!! Why are you shocked by the idea that boys pee at the front and girls pee underneath??? Simple anatomy would help you understand this. Have you ever peed to the back? Admit it, its not likely is it. Pampers active fit are brilliant nappies, the developments they have made are very much for the better.

Bought the normal looking pack and found the card sayiong they have changed the nappies, let us know what you think!!. USELESS!! My boy has now had a cple of wet mornings. This has only happened once or twice before with the pampers simply range! I can't be doing with these leakages so my have to rethink my brancd. I have used pampers for 18months, looks like the next 18 will be trial and error till I find something I am just as happy with like the OLD STYLE active fit. Shame.

these nappies are a joke, why the nappy was changed to begin with i'l never know, i have 2 boys and sence you'v changed the nappies i have 2 buy an extra big pack of nappies a week. They are terrible, i can't understand why u would think that by removing 3 quarters of the padding it would make the nappy better! they are awful and i am looking 4 another nappy to buy! i will never buy active fit again unless u turn them back 2 the way they were before!

Iam very disappointed with these nappies. It is now the second time that I have brought the 'bad batch' of the active fir nappies. My baby woke up in the middle of the night and had completely wet himself, he has never had this problem before with Pampers nappies. Pampers, there was no need to change these nappies, they were perfectly fine!I will now have to consider going to someone else for my nappies!

I experimented with several brands to find the perfect nappy for my daughter, she is very slim and almost every nappy leaked, combined with the issue that she suffers from toddler diarrhea we were happy to find Active fit as they seemed to cause us the least problems. We recently noticed she was leaking wee at night which has never ever happened with Pamper, they have reduced the padding at the back of the nappy, they are so thin and do not hold any shape to the child, one morning my daughter woke up and the nappy had actually worked its way open where it is so thin it had crumpled up. For runny poo they are completely useless. I am no longer buying Active fit and my search now begins to find a suitable nappy, which I find very frustrating given the fact Active fit were fine as they were. ACTIVE FIT NEW DESIGN IS A POOR PRODUCT!

I am a mother of 4 and used your nappies for the best part of 8 years!! I am appalled at the fact as a customer I was never told about the ''change'' in the active fit nappies...........had to find out for myself - soaking child first thing in the morning for the last 3 weeks!!!... Ruined mattress!!.... Us thinking our child had suddenly started urinating too much!! I have now changed to Huggies and would never recommend your nappies. I do not understand what makes you think that a baby doesn't need any absorbency in the rear of a nappy??!! Unbelievable!!!

I am a nursery manager and have been recommending Pampers nappies for 11 years. I have had my first child in Nov 09 and I used Pampers Baby Dry at night and Active Fit during the day. I haven't had a problem with either until recently. I have been having to change my baby more often and every morning he is wet through. I have had to change his bed time routine as I always bathed him at night, now having to bath him in the morning as he is so wet. I have had to buy bed mats so it doesn't ruin the materess. As soon as I have finished this packet of Pampers nappies I will not be buying anymore, moving to Huggies nappies. I will not be recommending Pampers in the future either! I am not a happy customer!

bring back the old actifit - if it aint broke dont fix it! Surely Pampers should acknowledge their customers views on this instead of saying we are all happy with them when clearly we are not!!!

I would just like to say im not atall happy with these "New" active fit nappy's.If somethings not broke why fix it ?. Ive used pampers since my wee girl was born and always thought they were the best brand, but these new ones are rubbish. My wee girls never had bother with leaks untill now!. Im thinking this is been done deliberatly the thinner the nappy the less absorbant, therefore it will need changed more often and people will go through more nappies and buy more!!. Well i think its gonni backfire the "old" active fit nappies were the best, but ive actually found sainsburys own explorer nappys are not great but certainly better than the new active fit !!. We have three children and have always used pampers nappies. Our middle child has worn active fit nappies for most of his life. I can count on the fingers of one hand how many times his nappy has leaked during his lifetime - until we started using the 'new' active fit last week. He has now been wet four times in a week and we've had to change his PJs, bed and sleeping bag. With a new baby in the family that is the last thing we want! I can't believe that pampers are claiming this is the best nappy ever! For my son it's the worst. We'll be off to huggies as the new nappies are terrible. I saw on my new baby son's nappies that his have been 'improved' now too - so hoping they're not as bad or we're in trouble.

We are exactly the same, we have only used activefit since our on was born and now we are switching to another brand. He is now waking through the night soaked through, vest, pj's and bedding. It's just a nightmare. I'm glad it's not just us but I'll be making an official complaint due to the extra washing costs. New and improved is a joke, cost cutting whilst making them awful is closer to the truth. We have another baby due in October and there is now way we'll be using Pampers, I'm going to Asda tomorrow to pick up some Huggies!

I want to express have truly annoyed I am with the new Activefit nappies, I say annoyed because the way you are selling them with the little card inside and until you get home and open them you do not know that you have the new product, this is wrong and I am now fed up with wasting my money on a nappy that just doesn't work. As previous mums have stated, they leak terribly, I am forever having to change my sons vest to. As for a night time nappy, I can see why they wouldn't be any good, there is no padding to the rear of the nappy where it is needed when a baby is lying on it's back. I to am going to switch to another brand but really wanted to say something to you and think that you should be advertising the new product on the packaging so that we have some chance of knowing what we're paying for.

Why change what was so good? I realise that there is less bulk to the nappy when dry, but after a couple of hours of my son weeing in it, it hangs down so low it must be heavier and more uncomfortable for him. Plus it doesn't hold poo half as well as the old kind. Also with the reduction in bulk I assume cost to make it is less but has not been passed on to the consumer! I'm only still using it at the moment as I bulk bought jumbo packs when they were on offer ... and until I read about the change I just thought It was a defect in the packs I had bought. VERY angry that the change had not been put on the packs first!

I am so disappointed and frustrated. I have used only Pampers nappies since the day my daughter was born 18 months ago. There was no reason to use any other as they were excellent. However I now have to find a new brand. A new dry max bag of nappies arrived this week and since I have used them my daughter has woken with WET pyjamas. Something which has never happened before. The ONLY thing that has changed is the nappy. PLEASE , PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD ONES ASAP. All these mothers would not be making this up.

My son is 20 months old and I have used pampers since he was born however the new active fit nappies are so useless I have no option but to change brands! My son's nappies never used to leak at night and since using the new active fit he has woken up in the middle of the night absolutely soaking, even the bedsheets and blankets were soaking because they had leaked so badly! I intend to return all unopened and won't be using pampers again until they change them back.

Hi, Ive been using these nappies for a few weeks now, I think they fit well but don't hold poo very well, I'm always changing vests as well as nappies!

Having used only Pampers since the birth of my 14mth old baby, I am truly disappointed by new Activefit nappies and how as parents we are being conned into buying them. The new Activefit leak, smell and appear v.uncomfortable (as after being on for approx half hr they are full and hanging down!). I am now trying Huggies and hope Pampers return to original Activefit design. If not I will no longer be wasting money on them.

I unwittingly bought the new "IMPROVED" pampers active fit for my 2 year old. They are crap!!! I have been using pampers for my children since 2004 and wouldn't have considered changing brands before, however I'll be finishing what I have and moving to another brand ASAP. I can't believe that pampers changed the nappies without telling anyone, yes it's lovely to have a small compact nappy that is hardly there, not so lovely having poo running down the childs legs though!!! They sag badly at the front when wet and there is little/no absorbency at the back I can use them at night for my son as he is dry anyway but I am not happy about the waste of money. I really am bitterly disappointed.

I have always been a loyal customer of Pampers since my son was born 4 and a half years ago and used them the whole time he wore nappies. I continued to use them when his sister was born, now 8 months old. I recently bought a large pack of Active Fit and received a card in the pack saying these were a new trial product. To be honest I didn't notice a huge difference in the nappies themselves. However I was hugely disappointed when my daughter woke up from a nap completely soaked, having only had the nappy on for 2 hours. This has never happened before and I was completely taken by surprise. Please Please bring the older version, the new ones are rubbish in comparison

used the new "improved" actifit nappy my 7 month old had it on for 2 hours whilst he had a nap and it had leaked right through babygro onto sheets!! I would never usually complain but feel others need to know that they are now the WORST nappy from pampers! i have since returned all my remaining un opened packets in exchange for baby dry!! will never purchase again!!! pampers please sort them out!!!!!!

What a pile of poo these 'new' nappies are. With no warning or external signs Pampers have changed the Active Fit for the WORSE. These nappies leak poo everywhere and cannot hold any wee at all. Sufice to say we have changed to another brand and I would suggest any parent reading this considers all other brands before using Pampers. If we all stop using them then maybe they will admit that this was an effort to reduce costs at the expense of the customer, that it was a bad idea and that the old nappies that DID WORK are to be returned.

Just spoke to someone at Pampers, they are not changing Active Fit back and are keeping these awful "IMPROVED" nappies on the market. I will be changing to Huggies as soon as the remaining nappies have finished.

As per previous comments - have also bought several jumbo boxes to discover the changed style. Yes, the nappy is lighter, BUT it is not as effective as the original design. I am not normally one to post comments and I suspect that the comments posted here are only the tip of the iceberg. Come on Pampers do the right thing - apologise to buyers, revert to the original design and offer a refund or discount on future purchases. Will be testing alternative brands just in-case they are not going to do anything about it. It would be good if anyone who has switched makes their recommendations known...

What I do not understand is how it is legal for pampers to change their nappies without letting customers know they have changed! I bought 4 jumbo boxes as they were on offer and to my horror when i opened the boxes I found that they were all "TRIAL" nappies! If Pampers want to do a trial, they should give the TRIAL nappies free, not let you believe you are buying one thing and give you another! These nappies leak and my son has nappy rash, which he did not have before pampers changed the nappies. These new nappies have a lot less padding and are rough on a babies skin. These nappies are a lot less absorbant and I am having to change his nappy much more often as they look full after 1 wee! And they sag at the back. My sister find these nappies are awful and if Pampers dont change them back and fast we will also be switching to Huggies!

Wow, well I registered just so I can share that I am having issues with their 'new and improved' changes as well. I have two daughters, almost 2 years apart exactly. I thought something was up with the recent Active Fit nappies I received - they were thinner and rougher and seemed to sag more on my oldest daughter. My youngest, 18 weeks old, is on special formula due to lactose intolerance and has been leaking out of the 'new and improved' new baby nappies as well. I have used Pampers exclusively on my oldest, so have been a customer for over 2 years. Now I just placed an order with Ocado including Huggies after seeing all the issues arising from this new design....all I need is my 2 year old leaking at nursery all the time, or leaking in her bed while dealing with a 4 month old! Pampers, you have always had great brand recognition - something needs to be done here as you will lose a lot of current customers, and wont make any new ones the way us mothers talk amongst ourselves.

my baby is 27weeks old now, and i have only used pampers products for him since he was born... i have never had this terrible experience before, as with the new active fit.... was this product not tested before launch????.... for the first time, my baby had leaks all night... i had to change him six times, and since i was unprepared for this type of occurence, his mattress is soaked. this is a complete waste of my money, and inconvenience for my dear baby that kept screaming each time his soaked nappy had to be removed. I am very dissapointed and will appreciate a full refund for my money....

I have always used pampers on my son, who is now 18 months, but not anymore. Since I have used their new (apparently improved) nappies, I have had to change his bedding every morning as it's wet through. For the first time in his life he has nappy rash, where the urine is sitting on his skin, due to these nappies no longer absorbing enough. I'm now changing his nappies twice as often as I did before. I have decided I'm not waiting to finish the pack. I will be going shopping today to buy Huggies.

THANK GOODNESS- I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST US!!! My little boy is 2 and a half, my little girl 1 year old. I have been using pampers since my little boy was born- health visitor even recommended Pampers. Had never had a problem up until recently. I use active fit nappies for both children during the day and had been using them in the night. My little boy woke up recently crying as he was soaking wet- bed and everything, the same the next night so I started to use baby dry over night as I thought he was just weeing more! Not so, I am now noticing that during the day he fills his nappy very quickly and if I don't change his nappy after an hour and a half he is soaked through. The other day I got through 9 nappies in one day; that means a box will only last me a week now where before it was lasting 10 or 11 days. Pampers are the most expensive to buy but you want the best for your little ones and cut back elsewhere rather than on their essentials. In addition to the leaking problem my little girl has a rash where the nappy sits round her legs and tummy. I had put all these things down to an increase in juice drinking/ heat and growing up BUT it is quite clear from this and all the other online forums, and the watchdog feature that PAMPERS HAVE QUITE SIMPLY GOT IT WRONG. I have 25 pampers nappies left so based on 9 a day with 2 children, they will be gone by lunchtime tomorrow and I WILL NOT BE BUYING ANYMORE, unless they bring back the old design that worked so well. I will trial huggies, boots own, supermarkets own- whatever it takes to get the most effective nappy for my little ones. I am so disappointed. Having worked with branding professionals in the past I can only imagine the amount of damage all this will do to your brand image- previously a trusted brand.

I cannot believe what they have done to the Activefit's . They are RUBBISH . I have used them on my last 2 babies for the last 4 years and they are not Half as good as they used to be , AS SOON AS MY LITTLE BOY HAS A WEE IT EITHER LEAKS OR THEY ARE DROPPING DOWN TO HIS KNEE'S . What have they done ????? Please change back I dont want to use HUGGIES !!!!!!!

I have used pampers and only pampers on all 3 of my children, the first time was eight yrs ago and i am still using them now on my 18mth old daughter (soon to change), I always thought they were worth paying the extra money for as weve had no nappy rash no leakage and very comfy bums, until just recently my daughter is waking up wet sore and very uncomfortable,these nappies are so rubbish when my little girl gets up first thing the nappy is literally hanging off her, hows she supposed to be active in something she can hardly move her legs in? surely PAMPERS you need to sort this out, you say you have so many satisfied customers ??? Well were are they why arent they posting comments defending their best brand, i am so upset and disatissfied that i will be using huggies from now on, if you decide to actually listen to your unhappy customers and put pampers back to normal let me know i may actually concider coming back until then, i really think you need to listen!!

I have used Pampers since my 14mth old was born and have been a big fan of Active fit due to their slim design. However, I agree with the other comments that the new design leaks over night. I first thought my son was a bit sweaty as the weather got hotter but his vest and bedding are soaked each morning. Annoyingly pampers seem to be sticking to thier stance that the 'improved' (lower cost, therefore more profitable???????) design is better, rather than listening to their consumers. Please advise on what you are going to do to resolve, Pampers, or I will be joining many others on the forum and switching to Huggies

i have used pampers nappies since my little girl was born i got on with them great i thought they where really good nappies kept her dry all night and good though the day and since you have changed them she wakes up with a wet back where there is not enough padding up the back and not only has she been waking up wet it dose not hold the pooh as well it goes up her back and also comes though she is not as comfortable in the new ones as she was the old ones change them back im having to find a different make nappies as im no longer happy buying your product

Normally I buy the BabyDry but as the active fit ones were on special offer at the supermarket a few weeks ago, I bought 2 x packs of 60 nappies as I thought it was good value for money. Now I have got round to using them, I only opened the packet yesterday & have used only 4 nappies. 3 of the 4 times my 6 month old daughter has ended up being wet through her clothes. The first time this happened she was playing in her bouncer & I actually heard & saw her go to the toilet as it went all over my floor!!! I thought maybe the nappy was just full and needed changing, but when this happened a further 2 times, I was not impressed, but especially after the other nappy leaked 'poo' at the top of her legs. My poor daughter has ended up with wet clothes and a poo everywhere because these nappies have 'leaked'. I have also found that she smells more after having passed wind or pooed. Instead of having 'good value for money' which was the whole reason I made this bulk purchase, I have ended up going out to buy yet more nappies, in the BabyDry and am left with 116 nappies which I will not use. I was discussing this with a friend of mine who told me it had been highlighted on the TV & now I've come on here, it's quite apparent that there is a problem!!! I have been buying pampers for 9 years as, having tried other brands, and found these to be the best for my children. I am not impressed that I may as well have thrown my money down the drain, when buying an essential item for my daughter. I have read the card inside the pack which tells us to get in touch if we have any advice or concerns etc etc so I am doing just that. This is my advice...PAMPERS: why fix something that is not broken? You have changed the design of these nappies and in doing so, have caused our children discomfort. I am one VERY disatissfied customer.

I have never felt compelled to leave a comment on a commercial site before, and resent all the personal information I have had to provide in order to do so - but I really feel let down by a brand I had trusted since my son's birth 8 months ago. He has had Pampers nappies all the way without issue - no rash, the usual amount of breast fed baby leakage - until now. I bought a pack of Active Fit from Boots only yesterday despite seeing the Watchdog item, such is my trust in your research I was willing to try it on my precious son before switching brand. Unfortunately all of these comments resonate with me - only 3 nappies in to the pack and my busy wee boy has had clothes changed 3 times and is ALREADY developing a rash on his back. It goes without saying I won't be continuing to use these as they cause him discomfort. I am really confused now about which brand to choose - looks like I'll have to try Huggies. What I don't understand is how your research has failed to note that most active babies don't poo or pee nearly straight down into a nappy as your rep did on Watchdog - its a bit more messy and chaotic than that... Modern motherhood is stressful enough - please give your loyal customers a break and reintroduce the old padded Active Fit that truly didn't need to be changed.

BRING BACK THE OLD DESIGN. PAMPERS - WE ARE NO LONGER BUYING YOUR PRODUCT. WE HAVE SWITCHED BRAND ! Our baby was sore and the only way we could clear it up was to buy Huggies and stop using the new design of Pampers.

i have found the new Active fit nappies leave my little boy sore arond the tops of his legs and they smell bad when full and are unable to contain all thet he puts in them. Surely this makes them unfit for purpose. I have stared a petition on facebook to bring back the old design. Please join to show your objections to the new style of nappy and to Pampers removing our choice by not advising that they had been changed on the outside of the packets. I have lost all faith in this brand.

I have always used active fit on both my children but no longer my eight month old has developed sores on her back due to lack of padding on the new version. Bring back the old or lose lots of customers!!

Since these have changed i have found them rubbish they dont have enough padding anymore and my daughter is walking now and much more active but your `Active fit' nappies dont do the job they say they do so i have swapped to Asda nappies and these are much better and cheaper so i will be sticking with them.

I took advantage of a pampers coupon i was sent recently. rather than buying one pack of pampers new baby i decided to buy 2 packs instead. as soon as i put the nappy on my 2 month old baby i realised straight away that the quality of the nappy was poor in appearence as well as support as it became very soggy as soon as it got soaked once. unfortunately, i did not keep hold of the receipt otherwise i would have gone back for a refund! I did not see the watchdog programme but contacted the telephone number on the pack to complain about the new baby nappies. I was asked to contact Pampers directly on another number (apparently they advertised Bounty's number on the pack instead of thier own). Think i will start using supermarket own brands at least u get ur moneys worth!!!

Thank god for the watch dog programme and also viewers comments. It explains such a lot that has been happening recently. I couldn't work out why the folowing was happening to my son and had made frequent trips to the doctors. My darling son has baby excezma but it had only appeared on his shoulders and had virtually cleared up until recently when we started using a new box of active fit in April. It has now come back with an aggression and also appeared on his bottom, back and tummy. Endless trips to the doctors and different tubes of steroid cream, it is still not clearing up. I also took him to the doctors thinking he had a urine infection because his nappies smelt very strong. My baby also sleeps through the night and every morning he has wet clothes now, which he most certainly did not have with the old active fit. Now I realise that these issues, whilst I was dealing with them seperately, are almost, certainly to do with the new active fit. I am distraught as I am based in Germany with the British Forces and did a bulk order online in April of the active fit, and I now have 5 jumbo boxes sitting in my cellar becasue I shall not be using them anymore. Pampers, please please please, listen to your customers. I wasl so very happy with the old active fit and recommended them to lots of friends. For you to go on the defensive just shows me that you don't care about children. How can you not go back to the original design when you know that children are in smelly, leaky nappies that are making their skin conditions worse? I feel totally let down and betrayed by the company! I buy your sensitive wipes also, as well as the travel wipes. It will be a long time before I trust the company enough to buy any of your products ever again!!!!!!

Just to let pampers know you have lost ANOTHER customer in me. Reasons listed below: - You changed the nappy without telling anyone. - You made the nappy WORSE - You used less padding which means costs less to make yet you haven't passed on those savings to us! Nappy costs the same to buy though it is cheaper to make? - My baby is breastfed and has very loose nappies, and it goes everywhere! Usually the nappy can contain it but since using the new active fit it's been running down her legs and gone up her back because of your stupid new design. - Active fit is for babies that move about, and it's supposed to accomidate that, however by not having padding in the back you are expecting babies to stand still while they have a wee? Babies could be try to stand on their head and have a wee, and thanks to your awful new nappy, it wouldnt stay in the nappy! It's all very weel pouring a water onto a nappy thats lying flat, but babies move about and get into all sorts of strange positions! The nappy needs to be padded all over! I hope once you see your customers leaving and your sales going down, you will admit you have made a mistake and bring the old nappy back. Until you do, you've lost me as a customer. I'm going over to huggies, watch their profits soar!

after watching watchdog and listrening to the pampers spokeswoman telling us that they will not be changing the design back to the old one, i have now decided to stick with huggies. no they are not as good as the old active fit but at least my son doesnt get any nappy rash. i will never use pampers again.

MY LITTLE BOY CAME UP REALLY BAD TOO, HE HAS ECZEMA & WAS ONLY WEARING NAPPY FOR HOUR.... TOOK ME WEEKS TO CLEAR IT! SOMETHING DEFINITELY WRONG WITH ACTIVE FIT... HAS SERIOUSLY PUT ME OFF TRYING ANY OTHER PAMPERS
