Pampers Partnerships

Because Pampers believes in caring for the happy, healthy development of babies, it works closely with a number of health professional groups to help provide Pampers with the latest advice and information to meet the needs of both parents and babies every step of the way.

The Royal College of Midwives (RCM)

Pampers and the RCM – working together for the support and wellbeing of mothers and babies every step of the way.

Pampers is proud to be part of the Royal College of Midwives Alliance Programme, which was formed in 2004 to promote and enhance the work of the College in its commitment to midwifery professionals. The Alliance aims to actively support midwifery and promote the interests of the RCM, midwives and mothers. As a partner in the Alliance, Pampers encompass the same values as the RCM of trust, honesty and integrity.

Because we understand that discovering you’re going to have a baby is a wonderful thing, but can also be an anxious time, Pampers has worked with the RCM to create to create a free no-frills ‘Guide to the First 12 Weeks’.

The guide provides useful information to overcome common misconceptions and support mums and dads in the early stages of pregnancy, outlining the advice networks available, as well as what you can expect from your midwife over the next nine months. To download your free guide click here

UNICEF

UNICEF is the leading children’s organisation, reaching children in more than 150 less-developed countries around the world. They work with local communities, organisations and governments to make a lasting difference to children’s lives.

Pampers first joined forces with the charity back in 2006. During October, November and December each year since then, for every Pampers product purchased with the ‘1 Pack = 1 Life-Saving Vaccine’ logo, Pampers provides UNICEF with funding for one life-saving dose of the Tetanus vaccine to help protect mothers and babies in need around the world.

Pampers is hoping to raise the funding for enough vaccines to help UNICEF eliminate maternal and newborn tetanus by 2012*

* UNICEF and the World Health Organisation (WHO) believe that the goal of eliminating maternal and newborn tetanus could be possible by 2012. UNICEF’s goal is to support countries in achieving maternal and newborn tetanus elimination.

Bliss

Pampers supports the special care baby charity, which provides vital support and care to premature and sick babies and their families across the UK. We have been working with Bliss to help fund the creation of their special Going Home Pack. The pack was created as many families leave the neonatal unit after weeks or even months, sometimes without being given enough or the right specialist information about taking their preterm baby home.

The Going Home Pack contains an array of information including a booklet on weaning your baby, breastfeeding your premature baby, financial advice for families and facts for fathers, and general information about Bliss.
